COMPLETED: October 16th through October 22, 2019
We were able to cross off two more National Parks off our list as we traveled through Utah. We stayed in Moab for a couple of days and were able to visit both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. We could have spent weeks here exploring all of the trails and the beauty of the red rocks. Then we traveled up north through Provo and Salt Lake City and we even had the pleasure of laying the Golden Spike on the first transcontinental railroad!
You can’t pass up Zion’s National Park and do the Angel’s Landing hike!!!!

Goblin Valley is a cool place to visit, with all the hoodoos, the land formations that are goblin like. Galaxy Quest was filmed there. By October it might be snowing, but I love hiking up to Stewart Falls, especially when the leaves have changed colors.
Coffee Shops: (this is Utah, good coffee is hard to find!) River Rock Roasting in LaVerkin UT, just outside Zion National Park. Their sit-down location has the best views from their back porch!
