Absolutely love your website. Have taken many of your ideas and tips on different things. When we have an issue in the garden, your website is the place to go to help rectify the problem. We live in Ellijay, GA, voted in the top ten small towns. We have mountains, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, quaint family wineries with the prettiest views, a downtown area with unique shops, restaurants, an abundance of wildlife and friendly people. We are the apple capital of Georgia and an agrotourism area. The motto is visit here, live hear. Love to have you.

North Georgia….soooo pretty! Camp on the most beautiful lake in Georgia…Lake Chatuge. Or camp in our yard where you can see the highest mountain in Georgia and then, we will take you out on a boat to explore this beautiful lake. Drive up to the top of Bell Mountain to experience breathtaking views. Visit Mountain Crossings which is located on the Appalachian Trail/ the only place on the trail that goes through a building. There’s moonshine, sorghum syrup and so much more. Love to have ya here!

Lisa – that sounds incredible – and if you folks are up for it we would love to come see it all! This is exactly what we want to make the trip all about. Jim and Mary

North Georgia is beautiful! (Though not dissimilar to TN, N and SC as far as mountains, etc.) If you’re wanting to have a varied experience you might try the GA coast (Jekyll or one of the other islands) or Savannah.

Thank you Joyce! I hear Georgia is amazing and can’t wait to spend more time there! I think we will be able to check out both the coast and the rural areas as well.

    In addition to the above…

Helen, GA (German-style town with great food, beautiful quaint downtown, tubing down the river)
Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, very close to Helen)

Helen sounds amazing – we can appreciate good German Food and as hot as it is right now, tubing down the river sounds so refreshing! Thanks for the suggestions!
